Working Hours: 8-hour shifts, with start times available between 7:00am and 11:00am
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Stone. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts
Start times can be any time between 7:00am and 11:00am
Finish time will depend on your start time, e.g. a 7:00am start would finish at 3:00pm, while an 11:00am start would finish at 7:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies.
Picking and packing customer orders accurately and on time.
Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring items are correctly labelled.
Moving and storing stock safely within the warehouse.
Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stock control.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Using warehouse equipment safely and correctly.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
About You
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills.
Flexible and willing to assist with different warehouse duties.
Forklift experience/licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
