Picker & Packer – Coventry

FT Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Coventry area. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pick/Packing Car Parts operative. This role involves handling automotive components within a busy warehouse environment, ensuring accurate order fulfilment and efficient stock management. Duties: Carefully picking car parts according to order specifications using appropriate materials handling techniques Packing items securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring compliance with shipping standards Loading and unloading stock using manual handling equipment or forklifts where necessary Managing stock levels through accurate stocking and replenishment activities Operating forklift trucks safely to move heavy loads around the warehouse Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory, update stock records, and process orders Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing goods for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries Conducting quality control checks on parts to ensure they meet company standards before packing or dispatching Maintaining a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency in daily operations Supporting general warehouse duties such as organising storage areas and assisting team members as required Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse management, picking & packing, or related roles within logistics or automotive sectors is preferred Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with car parts is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely (up to 25kg) and perform physically demanding tasks
