Cleaner (Evening Shift)

Hours: Monday to Friday, Evening Shifts
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Peterborough. This is a part-time evening position, working Monday to Friday, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be dependable, take pride in their work, and be able to work independently while following cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and sanitising offices, communal areas, toilets, and other designated spaces.
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Following cleaning checklists and company procedures.
Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns.
Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
What We're Looking For
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Good communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Requirements
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. Applicants must either hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before employment.
