FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our client based in Rugby on a Permanent basis.

Vehicle Technician Job Benefits:

• £42,000 per annum
• 47.5 hours a week – 2/4 Saturdays as overtime
• 7am – 5pm (weekdays) and 7am – 12pm (Saturdays)
• 28 days holiday

Vehicle Technician Job Details:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement.
• Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks.
• Completing minor electrical work as and when required.
• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical and vehicle diagnostics.
• Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Performing technical vehicle assessments
• Communicating with the Workshop Controller/Manager to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles.

Vehicle Technician Person Specification:

• Full UK driving license.
• A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car the highest standard of care.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
• A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best.
• Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role.
• Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality.
• A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand.
