Job Description
FT Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our clients team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, including special dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
