FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our global client based at their office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a Permanent basis.
Ideally, our client is looking for somebody with Transport experience. However, they would be interested in speaking with candidates that come from a strong administration background looking for a change in industry!
Transport Administrator Job Benefits:
- £25,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Transport Administrator Job Duties:
- Completing general administrative duties to support the delivery of services
- Booking in deliveries
- Inputting data onto computer systems
- Producing documents and generating reports
- Liaising with customers by the phone and via email
- Handling customer queries
- Dispatching drivers
- Updating driver progress
- Working towards Customer KPI’s
- Completing other administrative duties as required
Transport Administrator Person Specification:
- Strong administration skills
- Background in transport administration is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of warehouse systems
- Able to work independently and alongside a team
- Proactive in approach to workload
- Strong time management skills
