Job Description

FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our global client based at their office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a Permanent basis.

Ideally, our client is looking for somebody with Transport experience. However, they would be interested in speaking with candidates that come from a strong administration background looking for a change in industry!

Transport Administrator Job Benefits:

  • £25,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Transport Administrator Job Duties:

  • Completing general administrative duties to support the delivery of services
  • Booking in deliveries
  • Inputting data onto computer systems
  • Producing documents and generating reports
  • Liaising with customers by the phone and via email
  • Handling customer queries
  • Dispatching drivers
  • Updating driver progress
  • Working towards Customer KPI’s
  • Completing other administrative duties as required

Transport Administrator Person Specification:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Background in transport administration is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems
  • Able to work independently and alongside a team
  • Proactive in approach to workload
  • Strong time management skills
