Mobile Health Assessment Technician

FT Professional are recruiting for a very unique role partnering with a work solutions health professional who are looking secure the perfect candidate to join their busy workforce out in the field. Our client is paying a salary of £24,000 – £27,000. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TAKING BASELINE MESAUREMENTS

PLEASE NOTE: A valid manual UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months) is essential. Applicants must be 21 or over and will need to provide a licence share code.

You may initially use your own vehicle or a hire car until a company van is allocated.

In this mobile role, you’ll travel regionally and occasionally nationwide, driving a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to client sites to deliver high-quality health assessments and surveillance services. You’ll receive a thorough 3-week training and induction programme, plus ongoing mentoring to support your development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health surveillance and screening activities including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis).
  • Record all medical information accurately and ensure it is shared with relevant clinical colleagues.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure it remains clean, safe, and fit for purpose.
  • Support wider health promotion activities as required.
  • Assist the occupational health team by gathering and documenting accurate information to support clinical decision-making.
  • Provide biometric data to help clinical staff make informed assessments.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a proactive, organised, and self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of GDPR. You should be confident working independently as well as part of a team, able to prioritise tasks, and comfortable meeting deadlines.

Hours

  • Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
  • Typically between 8am and 6pm
  • Regional travel and occasional nationwide travel including overnight stays
