Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + additional benefits & add-ons

FT Professional is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding estate agency business. Managing a portfolio of circa 500 residential properties across five branches, the business is entering a significant phase of growth, making this an excellent time to join in a senior leadership capacity.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Lettings Director to lead and develop the lettings function across all branches. This is a strategic role with full responsibility for operational performance, compliance, people leadership, and portfolio growth.

The Role

Reporting at director level, you will have full oversight of the lettings and property management operations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service for landlords and tenants alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the lettings division across five branches
• Oversee the management of circa 500 residential properties, ensuring operational excellence
• Drive growth of the lettings portfolio in line with the company’s expansion plans
• Ensure full compliance with current lettings legislation and regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop branch-based lettings and property management teams
• Set and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service standards
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with landlords, investors, and key stakeholders
• Oversee rent reviews, renewals, and retention strategies
• Manage contractor relationships, maintenance budgets, and service levels
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape business strategy and future growth

About You

• Proven experience in a senior lettings leadership role (Lettings Director, Head of Lettings, or similar)
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing lettings portfolios
• In-depth knowledge of UK lettings legislation and compliance
• Confident managing multi-branch operations and large property portfolios
• An inspirational leader with excellent communication and people management skills
• Highly organised, strategic, and solutions-focused
• Full UK driving licence
