£55,000 – £ 60,000 + package (DOE)

We’re working with a well-established Building Services / HVAC contractor looking to bring in an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee mechanical projects across the UK and Ireland.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the industry, can manage multiple projects, and isn’t afraid to take ownership from start to finish.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing HVAC and mechanical installation projects from pre-start through to handover, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and snag-free.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing HVAC & Mechanical projects across the UK & Eire
  • Attending client site meetings, pre-starts and progress meetings
  • Planning and managing resources (direct labour & subcontractors)
  • Purchasing materials and managing suppliers
  • Creating RAMS and ensuring H&S compliance
  • Producing O&M manuals
  • Managing contract variations
  • Overseeing multiple projects ranging from £5k to £1m
  • Carrying out surveys and assisting with bids and negotiations
  • Keeping clients and internal teams fully updated
  • Supporting Directors with improving processes and efficiencies
  • Allocating projects to other Project Managers and monitoring progress

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in the HVAC / Air Conditioning / Building Services industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and H&S requirements
  • Experience managing projects from concept to completion
  • Comfortable managing labour, materials, and budgets
  • Computer literate and organised
  • Confident communicator, able to deal with clients and stakeholders at all levels

Desirable:

  • ONC / HNC in Building Services (HVAC)
  • CSCS card
  • Strong knowledge of major HVAC suppliers and equipment
