FLT Counterbalance Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated FLT Operative to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing materials, operating forklift equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical aptitude to contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics processes. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport goods
• Manage materials handling tasks, including stacking, organising, and storing stock items
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control
• Conduct basic equipment repairs or report faults to maintenance teams promptly
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
• Perform manual handling of heavy loads in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Support the organisation of stock within the warehouse to optimise space utilisation
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Job Details:

• Monday-Friday
• 5am-2pm
• 2pm-11pm
• 4pm-1am
• 8pm-5am

Job qualifications:

• In date FLT license
• 2 years+ experience on the FLT
• must drive due to location
