Warehouse Operative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

This role involves stock management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities.

Duties

• Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking in deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
• Engage in picking and packing operations to fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve warehouse processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate stock records.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
