Warehouse Operative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

This role involves stock management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities.

Duties

Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking in deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Engage in picking and packing operations to fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve warehouse processes.
Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes is desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate stock records.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
